Guilbert Express was awarded the INPI innovation trophy.
Our organisation was honoured with a special prize awarded by the jury of the French industrial patent organisation, the Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle (INPI) for the Ile-de-France region, a reward for more than a century’s sustained effort in terms of patent registration policy.
The jury’s comments are a reflection of the regard in which we are held by the INPI, and more generally by all those, near and far, who are involved in these matters:
“The jury has decided to award a special prize to an organisation that has survived for over a century by constant innovation and adaptation since 1905 in the field of soldering irons and torches for professionals and the general public. Guilbert Express has always made full use of industrial intellectual property: 50 patents, 19 trademarks, 32 designs and models. It still exists whilst its direct competitors have disappeared one after another as a result of competition from Asia.”
We are extremely proud of this prize, which is a reward for our efforts in terms of development and innovation, which alone represent an investment of close to 5% of our annual turnover.
We would like to share this prize with all our employees, all of whom contribute to this approach every day and who have made the organisation one of the most innovative and best performing in its market sector.
